ISSI Board Members
John Q. Liu
John Liu has served as our Chairman since June 2020. Mr. Liu founded Ingenic Semiconductor in 2005 and he has served as Chairman and CEO of Ingenic Semiconductor since then. Ingenic Semiconductor is a fabless company that provides silicon/system solution for AIoT devices based on its CPU, multimedia and AI technology. From 2000-2004, Mr. Liu served as VP Engineering at Arca Technology, a fabless company that developed CPU technology. From 1998-1999, Mr. Liu served as a department director in Beijing Bitonic Technology, a design service company. Mr. Liu obtained his Ph.D. degree in computer architecture from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1998 and B.S. degree from Tsinghua University in 1993.
Jimmy S.M. Lee
Executive Director since December 2015. Previously, Executive Chairman and served as our Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and a Director since he co-founded ISSI in October 1988. From 1985 to 1988, Mr. Lee was engineering manager at International CMOS Technology, a semiconductor company, and from 1983 to 1985, he was a design manager at Signetics Corporation, a semiconductor company. Mr. Lee also held various design engineering position in Toshiba Semiconductor and National Semiconductor Corp. Mr. Lee has served as a director of ICSI, a memory supplier, since September 1990 and has served as Chairman of ICSI since May 2005. We acquired control of ICSI in May 2005. He has served as a director of Chrontel, a video interface solution company since July 1995, and as a director of Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Corp, a semiconductor power device company since March 2006. Mr. Lee holds an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University and a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University.
Kong Yeu Han
Chief Executive Officer since December 2015, previously Executive Vice Chairman since May 2005 and a director since August 2005. He served as Chief Executive Officer of ICSI from January 1999 to May 2005. Mr. Han was a co-founder of ISSI and served as the Company's Executive Vice President from April 1995 to December 1998, as Vice President from December 1988 to March 1995, and as General Manager, ISSI-Taiwan from September 1990 to December 1998. Mr. Han holds an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University.
